Steve Bannon takes over White House
Steve Bannon came roaring into the White House on Donald Trump’s coattails and quickly became the Oval Office’ closest ally. T-rump even gave him a position on the National Security Council. Bannon was flying high with his white nationalists buddies like David Duke and Richard Spencer cheering him on, and had absolutely no qualms over the fact that everyone knew he was a racist. Let’s see now, top adviser to the President of the United States, the most powerful man in the world, is a white supremacist and believes he is superior to others, especially those of color. In this one single move, Donald Trump set America back years in its fight against bigotry.
Bannon overplays his hand
But all of a sudden Stevo got a little too comfortable in his West Wing office, pissing off his boss when things were going downhill and he was portrayed as Trump’s puppet-master on Saturday Night Live. To T-rump it looked like Stevie was trying to control him, and, as anyone knows, no one controls DT. The coup de grâce came finally when he appeared on the “…February 13 Time cover featuring Bannon’s menacing visage above the headline ‘The Great Manipulator.’” Trump, urged on by son-in-law Jared Kushner, humiliated Bannon by stripping him of his position on the National Security Council, cutting him out of key meetings, and declining to voice his faith in Bannon.
Matt Drudge even down on Bannonn
The former executive chairman of Breitbart News hit the skids with even Matt Drudge, a supposed old friend, turning on him circulating stories on his demise at the White House. Trump even told The Wall Street Journal that Bannon was just “a guy who works for me,” and then professed that he was his own strategist. Yeah, that’ll be the day. There were rumors Kushner was trying to get rid of Bannon, but at one point T-rump told both of them to work it out or he would. But the “chief strategist” would see his chance in April, when Kushner’s meetings with the Russians hit the media. The shit hit the fan and then Trump left for Saudi Arabia on May 19.
Steve Bannon has made the Devil’s Bargain
Jared Kushner gets cozy with Russians
Bannon was given the job to create an outside war room to “put a prophylactic around the Oval Office, one that would shield Trump from the encroaching crisis.” About then was when it was revealed Jared Kushner had tried to set up secret communications between the Trump campaign and Moscow, followed by Mueller’s investigation of Kushner’s financial affairs. When T-rump found out the Kushner family was trying to make hay off the whole thing, the wheels finally came off. Because Trump had his balls in a vise, he once again turned to the guy he knew could produce, and Bannon returned to good graces.
So. Poverty Law Center on Steve Bannon
This is, perhaps, the most comprehensive article on Steve Bannon I have ever seen, illustrating clearly his total bigotry. Bannon is a racist, a white nationalist, anti-feminist, against equal rights, anti-LGBT, and the list goes on and on. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) said from the beginning that Steve Bannon had no business in the White House and provided several reasons why…
- “The move to appoint Bannon to such an important role goes directly against Trump’s pledge to be a president to ‘all Americans.’ Bannon has a long history of bigotry. Breitbart’s publishing strategy made it the media arm of the racist Alternative-Right movement, publishing articles promoting popular white nationalist tropes such as “black on white crime” and that “rape culture” is inherent in Islam.”
Here’s what a former editor at Breitbart News called the organization: “a cesspool for white supremacist mememakers.”
Americans a bunch of apathetics
One would have thought that when these facts became known during Donald Trump’s election, there would have been an outcry from the American public that would have doomed T-rump’s presidency, and sent him packing before he ever got to the Oval office. But this country has become such a bunch of apathetics that just about anything goes anymore. Look at gun violence and the complete lack of action. The Democrats have become such a deadbeat Party that they can’t be depended on to support the human rights movement any longer. The Republicans, on the other hand, have no use for human rights to begin with. The next political upheaval with be disastrous.
